Let me bring the fascinating world of Scotch whisky to you. My privately hosted tastings are tailored to your interests and delivered at your chosen venue, so everyone can relax and enjoy the occasion together. No prior whisky knowledge required!
From smoky Islay malts to elegant Highland drams and rare cask-strength expressions, there’s plenty to explore. Tastings can also include chocolate pairings or a specially created whisky cocktail.
Whether celebrating a special occasion or gathering with friends, I’ll help create an engaging, entertaining and memorable experience.

From ancient Pictish stones and medieval churches to the lives of coastal communities, I enjoy bringing local history to life through the places we visit and the people we meet.
Having researched and written Echoes of the Landscape, my book exploring the history of Easter Ross, I look forward to sharing some of the remarkable stories and lesser-known treasures of this beautiful corner of Scotland.

Meet Your Host – Ronny Rehse
Originally from Germany, I’ve called the Scottish Highlands home for over 25 years.
For more than a decade, I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from around the world and sharing my passion for Single Malt Scotch whisky as a host and brand ambassador at a leading Highland distillery.
Whisky still fascinates me — from that satisfying little plop when opening a bottle to the surprises a dram can reveal with a drop of water.
These days, I combine my love of whisky, Highland history and good conversation through personally hosted tours and tastings. No complicated jargon, no rushing — just fascinating stories, a relaxed atmosphere and a warm Highland welcome.
And whether you prefer English or German, I’m equally at home with both!
